How are lessons structured?

  • The course is split into terms and each term lasts for 12 weeks.

  • Each class is 1.5 hours in duration. Students are given a short break after each 45-minute session.

  • 45 minutes is spent on creative writing. There is a 10 minute break and then the remaining 45 minutes is spent on comprehension.

  • Our comprehension sessions incorporate vocabulary and grammar tuition. This helps to ensure that every lesson is jam-packed with value.

Is it suitable for 11+ applicants?

Absolutely. This course was designed with 11+ pupils in mind. The vast majority of our tutees are preparing for independent school entrance exams and are aiming to secure places at competitive schools across the UK.

Can older/younger children take part?

The course is ideal for children who are in Year 5. However, bright Year 4 pupils who want to be ahead of their peers will also benefit.  If your child has not taken part in our classes before, they’ll benefit immensely from the techniques and strategies that we teach. If you are unsure about whether the course will suit your child, please contact us to discuss your child’s needs.

How big is the class size?

There will be a maximum of 10 children in this class.

What happens if my child misses a class?

Lessons are recorded and this enables children to catch up and watch missed lessons at any time. 

What are the fees?

  • £620 per 12-week term or £220 per month (if paid in instalments)

  • Parents wishing to pay on a monthly basis should read the details outlined in the terms section below.

  • A £60 deposit is required to confirm and reserve your child’s place. This is subtracted from the remaining course fee.

  • The outstanding balance (after the deposit) is due 72 hours before the course begins. (Please contact Victoria to discuss any exceptions).

  • Deposit payments and course fees are non-refundable but transferable.

How do I reserve my child’s place?

To reserve your child’s place, please make a deposit payment of £60 using the link below. The invoice for the remaining balance will be sent to you 5 days before the course start date.

Terms & Conditions 

  • The course is held on a termly basis so students are required to complete each term. Refunds and reductions will not be offered if you choose to withdraw your child before the end of term. This applies to those paying termly and monthly.

  • Each term excludes school holidays/bank holidays that fall on the expected class dates. If arrangements are made to provide additional classes, parents will be emailed with further details.

  • In the event of any postponement or cancellation of lessons, a member of our team will contact parents to provide an alternative date or a replacement tutor for that particular session.
